It is with great joy that Karmapa Center 16 announces that we not only met our matching challenge goal of raising $30,000 to match the Foundation’s generous pledge, we also surpassed our goal by raising a total of $31,382! This was only possible due to the amazingly generous support of many individuals from all over the world. Thank you!
We are especially grateful to a group of anonymous donors who made sure that the goal was met on July 24, 2026, the auspicious day of the Guru Rinpoche statue consecration with Dilyak Drupon Rinpoche and Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, and many dharma friends who were present at KC16. We are deeply touched and most grateful for this outpouring of support from everyone who participated and to those who made aspirations.
Also, Pema Chodron celebrated her 90th birthday on July 14th. We offer our heartfelt gratitude to her with prayers for her long life, the continuation of good health, and the ongoing flourishing of her beneficial teachings and other auspicious activities for the benefit of all.
